Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was a man of many virtues. He was a jurist, economist, politician, and a social reformist. Popularly known as Babasaheb, he was a man of social substance who became India’s first ever independent law minister and principal architect of the Indian Constitution. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate his teachings and works by students. On the occasion of Balasaheb’s birth anniversary at school everybody showed their respects to Dr BR Ambedkar by offering flowers, Garland, lightning the lamp and organizing cultural events. He is not only known for his great influence in eradicating the social scourge of untouchability in India but also for having led a crusade for the upliftment and empowerment of Dalits in the country since he believed that Dalits can never get their rights within Hinduism.
