Delhi Public School, Amravati,in association with Radiant Hospital presented Brain Exhibition celebrating the World Brain Day on July 22, 2023. The students and teachers welcomed the refreshing morning of Saturday at school campus in the presence of eminent personalities,¬¬namely Dr. Sikandar Advani and Dr. Anand Kakani, a renowned neurologist and an eminent neurosurgeon, respectively, who had arrived to celebrate the World Brain Day, with their better halves Mrs. Seema Advani and Mrs. AnuardhaKakani. The event had started by the welcoming of guests with aarti and auspicious lamp lighting. Moreover, our respected principal, Mr. Himadri Sekhar Desai, academic co-ordinator, Mr. Shishir Prakash, with senior school staff, Mrs. ShubhekshaKhawas and Mrs. PreetiWankhade, felicitated the guests with shawl and shreefal.Mr. HImadriSekhar Desai in his speech put emphasis on how important a brain is for the human body: without which a living body can be declared as dead. The message was important for promoting the significance of a healthy brain in a healthy body.Two students from class IX, Vaidehi and Prachi, gave a tremendously wonderful presentation on the theme of healthy brain and its functions, including a small piece of information regarding the disease Alzheimer and its causes and treatment. The voluntary participation of students and teachers for the event was noteworthy. The exhibition was declared opened by Dr. Anuradha Kakani. It was beautifully organized by the students as it showcased their potentialities through the portrayal of their charts and models on human brain. Last but not the least, Dr. Advani put his thoughts among us and informed us about the four main hormones secreted in a human brain which are responsible for our happiness in life and gave us the mantra of happiness in life. It was a very significant inputproposed by Mr. Kakani. The guests were impressed by the talent of students and wished a lot of success for their upcoming ventures before they left. It was a proud moment for all of us as two groups of students from standard IX headed by Prachi and Vaidehi were selected for prestigious presentation in Hotel Grand Mehfil on Jul 23,2023. The day was vibrant and colourful for all the witnesses and ended on a happy note.
